In this beginner-friendly painting class, we will work with fundamental skills, beginning with a basic sketch to establish values and composition. Moving from black and white to color, we will use water-soluble oils and a basic palette while learning to mix colors and interpret values. We will utilize some basic exercises to work up to a small still life, in which we will work from observation. No prior painting experience is required!
