ART CLASSES EVENTS

Course Description

Welcome to the world of monster making! In this class we will conceptualize, design and build our very own monsters. We will consider everything- from their color, shape, claws and fins to their favorite hobbies and outfits. We will begin by developing ideas in two-dimensional designs on paper and then we will construct the three-dimensional figures. This class is the perfect opportunity to let your imagination run wild and enhance your sculpture skills using a wide variety of materials.

Tuition Assistance is available for all kids programs. Please contact Elizabeth Buccino, Director of Education prior to registering online.

Cancellation Policy

AAN depends upon student tuition to continue to offer classes and workshops. Due to our commitment to small class sizes and the hands-on nature of art education, we are greatly impacted by cancellations. Nevertheless, we do understand that plans change. If you need to cancel your reservation for a class or workshop, please note our cancellation/refund policy here and let us know as soon as possible.

Nicci Aguiar

Nicci is an illustrator from Nantucket whose passion for cartoons, animation, and comic books led her to study Sequential Art at Savannah College of Art and Design. After graduating from SCAD in 2016 Nicci moved back to Nantucket where she continued to create her fun and silly illustrations. Nicci teaches Comics, Illustration, and Digital Art at the Artists Association of Nantucket. When Nicci isn't painting she can be found riding her bike and reading comics on the beach.
